The Treasonous Times

We live in a strange world. For Americans, we live in a country where media conglomerates reveal war time secrets during a time of war and glaringly assert it is their First Amendment right to do such things. I don't think so and neither should you. The First Amendment doesn't say anything about aiding and abetting our enemy. The First Amendment doesn't say anything about risking the lives of Americans for the mere prospect of increased newspaper sales. It doesn't say anything about weakening the ability of the Republic to wage war against a determined enemy. As citizens of the Empire, are we to stand by and remain silent or claim neutrality as the thought control police (American media) openly undermine America's war on Terrorism? I thought we were at war. If I'm mistaken, post and inform me as to otherwise.

The New York Times declares that the reporting of such a secret program is in the interest of the public! It is in the publics interest to promote the progress of the Republic and the safety of it's inhabitants. It is not in the publics interest to cripple and or limit the ability of the nation to defend itself, most certainly not, I would believe, while the Republic is engaged in open warfare.

The fifth column and abetter of the enemy, what have they done?

I'm speaking of the July 23, 2006 New York Times article that divulged the U.S. governments extensive monitoring of the SWIFT program. (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication)
For the second time, The New York Times newspaper has revealed secret American war tactics to the masses. Why is such treasonous behavior tolerated?

What is treason?

The definition of treason is as follows: 1. Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies. 2. A betrayal of trust and confidence. - American Heritage Dictionary, 4th Edition. Blacks Law Dictionary, seventh edition, defines treason as the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which one owes allegiance, either by making war against the state or by materially supporting its enemies.

How does the G man define treason? Under U. S. Code 2381 treason is defined as: Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than 10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

CLICK HERE AND ASK AXIS SALLY WHAT'S THE DEFINITION OF TREASON?

The sufficient or non-sufficient charge of treason lies in the method of reporting this information to our enemies. At least by today's care free standard. Let's say for instance that the current revelation of U.S. war secrets by the New York times was done by mouth and not by print. If a reporter from the Grey lady verbally told a member of Al Qaeda of the U.S. governments tracking of the SWIFT program, would not a charge of treason be most warranted? Let's be realistic here. That reporter would most likely himself or herself under arrest.

What is SWIFT?

SWIFT stands for the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication. It is a worldwide database that provides information on how to transfer money among over 7,800 financial institutions worldwide. SWIFT routes more than 11 million transactions a day, between banks, stock exchanges, brokerage firms and other similar financial institutions. These transactions average $6 trillion dollars a day. The database overwhelmingly covers overseas transactions.

Why is SWIFT important?

The monitoring of specific money transfers within SWIFT lead to the arrest of high level Al Qaeda leader Riduan Isamuddin, known as Hambali, believed to be the mastermind of the 2002 bombing of a resort in Bali, Indonesia. The triple bombing left 202 people dead and over 200 wounded. The dead were comprised of mainly Australian, Indonesian, British, American, and German citizens, respectively. SWIFT data also helped identify Uzair Paracha, a Brooklyn, New York importer who was convicted on terrorism related charges in 2005. Mr. Paracha assisted an Al Qaeda operative in Pakistan by agreeing to launder over $200,000 dollars through a Pakistan bank.

In addition, the 9/11 hijackers had received at least $130,000 in money transfers from known persons connected to Al Qaeda. The idea here is pretty simple, track the terrorists finances, connect the dots or networks, would have you, arrest them if you can, and significantly decrease their capacity to launch large scale attacks. It's not rocket science.

The term War on Terrorism or War of Terrorism is not a catchy slogan. It's a state of realized being. The Empire,in it's short 230 years of glory, is currently at war. We will aid and abet our country by all means necessary. The promotion of American nationalism, by our youth, adults and elderly should be practiced in private and in the public sphere by all respectable means, especially during a time of war. What is good for the state is good for the citizen. Unfortunately, as long as the thought control police, and political factions bombard the American people with negative and demoralizing information and absolute disinformation concerning the war on terrorism, behavior that was once considered treasonous will become status quo.

What is bad for the state is bad for the citizen.
